إن مصطلح التورنت أوالـ Bittorent هو صيغة تستخدم للتعبير عن أحد وسائل نقل الملفات من نوع " الند للند " أو المعروفة بـ P2P والتى جعلت من الممكن تناقل الملفات ذات الحجوم الكبيرة بدون تلفها.
